Chileans forced to drink dirt as UK avocado plantations suck up all the water

Villagers in Chile are locked in a fight for clean water – claiming farms supplying UK supermarkets, are depleting local supplies. Main river of Petorca village was previously one of the main swimming locations, it has now fully dried up through years of permanent use… to irrigate avocado plantations. A new report says locals have to resort to drinking water with high levels of human waste.
